L2

After going through the lessons so far, I can see the potential applications for Library 2.0.

L2 will allow patrons in the CC the capability to bookmark sites using Delicious, which they can't do now.

They would be able to add the library's website as an RSS feed which would allow them access to the library's website without going directly to the website. This would give them instant access to library news, information, programs, etc.

A library blog site could be created as another means to "electronically" connect with the public, sharing ideas, information, etc. Flickr could be used to present pictures of library events, programs, etc. on the blog.

All in all, L2 could be used as another means for the library to showcase their activities, interact and stay connected to those patrons who are strictly computer-driven.
